一念三千：一念者,一心也,起心動念之間。地獄、餓鬼、畜生、阿修羅、人、天、聲聞、緣覺、菩薩及佛十法界,每一法界又攝具其他,成百法界。一切法,皆有真如實相之「十如是」,百法界各具十如成千如。千如法界每一如含攝「三世間」,成三千,是一切法的總稱。
性具善惡：眾生本有乃「性善、性惡」；後天行為所生乃「修善、修惡」。佛斷修惡而存性惡,受慈善根力之薰習,可至阿鼻地獄教化眾生；一闡提斷修善而存性善,故遇緣則得發善。
